A Skin Peel is a treatment which is performed in clinic for a range of skin problems that include pigmentation, acne, dullness, oiliness and photo-damage.

They are designed to give you a brighter smoother healthier looking skin. 

The Exuviance Facial and the NeoStrata® ProSystem skin peels that we use contain AHAs which help to loosen and remove the dead surface layers of the skin to exfoliate and smooth as well as provide deeper anti-aging benefits.

It is clinically proven to achieve outstanding and predictable results in skincare. The system offers the flexibility of four Rejuvenating Peel concentrations – 20%, 35%, 50%, 70% Glycolic Acid – and two targeted benefit peels for Clarifying and Brightening the skin. This allows us to design a treatment program to specifically meet your individual needs.

NeoStrata® ProSystem are classed as superficial peels, often referred to as “lunchtime peels” as they require very little recovery time. They work by using three different alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs); glycolic acid, citric acid and mandelic acid.

The procedure involves deep cleansing followed by the application of the chosen peel This is left on the skin for a strictly timed period and then it is neutralised by spraying it with a product that halts the effect of the AHA.

Post peel products and SPF are then applied.

Peels are best used in courses and at 3-4 weekly intervals to get the best results.
